Getting to college starts
somewhere, and for me, it started junior year of high school when came to
colleges and where I planned to look for me based on major, what I want to
accomplish and what campus I enjoyed. I looked at three other colleges: Otterbein,
Ohio University, and Ohio Wesleyan University. I knew I wanted to major in
Communications and Public Relations, so I began there. Otterbein’s program to
me seemed to be out of date for me, Ohio University, for me was too big, and
Ohio Wesleyan was a close second. I chose ONU for many different reasons. The
first reason being the great program of Public Relations. I wanted to be a part
of the action, and I wanted to make my mark. The second reason was the amazing
campus. I enjoyed all that I saw on the campus and all of the clubs. I applied
my senior year of high school, got accepted to all of them. After looking at
all of the financial aid packages and touring all of the schools three times, I
made my decision. I was going to be a polar bear. In my first week, I have felt
very welcomed, and I know I picked the right college. Throughout this blog, I
will highlight many different aspects of my life at ONU.

This was a spur of the moment, but knowing how fun I am, this wasn't surprising to many. Let me preface that the costume had just been dry cleaned, and I am 5'3. The outfit was a little bit b...
