Christmas Break is so close I can touch it!! Being a college student versus a high school student, the break is longer and the stress of homework is not looming over us. The needed break is felt even more as a college student.
This semester, I do not have any exams, but I did have papers and projects to finish! I am very excited for Christmas Break as it will be a great time both relaxing and spending time with friends and family. Andrea and I’s birthday is the 20th, so we will start to break by celebrating turning 19. On Christmas Eve, I will be at my church for most of the evening. Being a preacher’s kid, my favorite memories are on Christmas Eve. My family and church staff order pizza between the services and Andrea and I are anxiously awaiting to get our new pajamas on! As a family, we will celebrate Christmas at our house this year! There isn’t anything specific that I have asked Santa this year but my mom, sister and I are looking at two puggles to get! We shall see how that all plays out. My mom’s birthday is soon to follow on the 26th. We celebrate the new year with family friends and watch football!
In the first week of 2020, Andrea and I will be spending it in Florida with our grandparents! I am looking forward to getting a tan and enjoying the warm weather!
Do you have exams before the break? What do you plan to do on Christmas Break? Are there any family traditions that you partake in?

I'm also so excited for Christmas break. It's crazy that we only have a day and a half left before break. I have two finals, but they are both take home so I will be taking them in Chillicothe instead of Ada. Christmas break is pretty jam packed already with work, Christmas activities and my friends and I are also going to Florida the first week of January. I am so excited but I already know this break is going to go by so fast.
ReplyDeleteI (thankfully) only have two finals next week but can't wait to get home for the three weeks of break! I'm planning on working just about everyday while I'm home in order to make some money for next semester, and spending the outside time with my best friend from home Ally (yes we have the same name haha), my parents and my cat. Overall, time flies here at ONU and I can't wait to have a few weeks to chill!
